Singapore Sits at 9th Ranking Globally in the Future Skills Index
Singapore is ranked 9th on the QS World Future Skills Index, which assesses how effectively countries are preparing their workforce to meet the demands of the future global job market.
Among the various categories, Singapore secured 9th place in the Skills Fit indicator with a score of 83.2, which evaluates how well a country’s education system aligns with employer needs. Similarly, the city-state ranked 10th in the Future of Work index, highlighting its readiness to support emerging job skills in the evolving employment landscape.
Singapore’s ranking is just behind Australia (93.3) and ahead of South Korea (87.3). While it did not make the top 10 in the Economic Transformation and Academic Readiness categories, it still achieved impressive scores of 85.4 and 91.7, respectively.
