3E Accounting Founder Participated in LIT series’ LITerally Online Facebook Live Session
As the youth wing of the National Trades Union Congress (NTUC), Young NTUC has been the voice of young workers on their needs and aspirations. Established since 2005, it currently has over 180,000 working adults aged below 35 years old as members under its wing.
Out of the many initiatives, some of the notable ones are such as the interest and cause centric affinity groups where likeminded individuals gather to lead initiatives in areas they are passionate about such as environmental, animal welfare and volunteering. Also, there are frequent events such as LIT which is a series of career empowerment programmes designed to provide support to youths and young working adults in having the right skills to excel in a digital workforce.
On 29 July 2020 8 pm, 3E Accounting Founder Mr Lawrence Chai participated in LIT series’ LITerally Online Facebook live session. During the session, Mr Chai interacted with youths and job seekers on a topic that highly resonates with them; Charting of the career path in SMEs.
From discussing on the myths of having a career in SMEs such as regarding career progression, workload and job security; To opportunities currently available for application and how to apply for the positions; Ending off with heartfelt advice by Lawrence for youths who are starting out in their career journey.
