This year Singapore has seen monumental economic growth especially in the second quarter, with its gross domestic product (GDP) is projected to increase 3 percent. Quarter-on-quarter, Singapore’s economy expanded steadily and we can see that Singaporean economy is poised at an important juncture – the country’s economic competitiveness and growth will continue to increase and it rests critically on innovation and productivity. 3E Accounting, at the same time, is catching up with the country’s economic growth trend proactively.
We are one of the Early Adopters of Tripartite Standards
This year, we are happy to be recognized as one of the Early Adopters of Tripartite Standards in October 2017. The recognition actually acknowledges 3E Accounting as an employer who has signed the Tripartite Standards, declaring that we have fulfilled all the requirements of specific Tripartite Standards. We understand that not all working arrangements will be suitable in all workplaces but flexitime, part-time working and job sharing could still be considered. That’s why we strive to cultivate the culture of work-life balance at our workplace.
We are Building a Culture of Compliance
Other than the effort to promote work-life balance, compliance is a top-of-mind concern for 3E Accounting’s management. We are pleased to be mentioned in ACCA’s article on how to build a culture of compliance that includes the issues of ethics and compliance at workplace as well as how do business leaders step up on their compliance education programmes.
Corporate Income Tax Submission Deadline
Last but not least, we wish to remind you that the corporate tax seasons in Singapore are around the corner. The deadline for submission of your Company’s Form C / Form C-S for the Year of Assessment 2017 is by 30 November 2017. We would like to remind you to get ready early to avoid any late penalties. As we are approaching the end of year 2017, besides preparing the accounting schedules, please don’t forget to do a stocktake. Call us if you require any assistance.
