Description
Trainee will learn and support the firm’s operation in delivering high quality professional services. It comprises on-the-job training, training & development workshops and mentorship with various functional heads and seniors.
Job Responsibilities
Trainee will be placed in the function that best suits their qualification and area of interest. Throughout the 9-months, they will be able to be guided in the administrative and compliance areas of any relevant business units that require administrative and compliance functions such as the Letter and Office Administration, Corporate Secretarial, Accounting and Tax, Human Resources, Business Advisory, Digital Marketing, etc.
Letter and Office Administration – Trainee will assist in the daily operations of office administration such as liaising and communicating with any external parties, administration and management of internal office systems, coordinate office activities and operations to secure efficiency and compliance to company policies, manage customers through phone calls and correspondence (e-mail, letters, packages etc.), create, update and maintain good records of databases.
Corporate Secretarial, Accounting & Tax, Payroll, Business Advisory – Trainee will work with the relevant teams in the compliance and administrative areas. They will assist in client onboarding and on-going compliances, maintenance of proper records in compliance with the regulations, reviewing, monitoring and ensuring that statutory filings are done on a timely manner. Assisting in responding to queries on compliance issues raised by clients or the authority.
Technical Skills and Competencies Trainee will learn:
• Trainee will learn and work closely with team member from the Accounting, Tax, Corporate Secretarial, Letters and Office Administration, Business Advisory and Digital Marketing to innovate and identify value-adding opportunities to client, through their administrative and compliance support.
•Trainee will understand the operation within a professional service firm better, through supporting and learning of various administrative and compliance procedures of each departments.
• Trainee will learn to carry out all tasks from the most basic up to the comprehensive level, independently, efficiently and effectively in a fast pace environment and in accordance with requirements and regulations.
• Trainee will learn the essential skills required for general administration and compliance areas such as accurate database updating and maintenance, information and data storage and retrieval systems, stakeholder’s liaison matters, projects handling and management of business correspondences professionally.
Requirements
• Singapore Citizen or Permanent Resident; and Graduated or graduating in calendar year 2019 or 2020 from ITEs, polytechnics, universities, or other educational institutions (e.g. private universities and overseas institutions); or Graduated earlier from above institutions and completed National Service in 2019 or 2020.
